Austin-Tetra Promotes Mike Zier and Elects Craig Johnson to Board
Irving, Texas – Austin-Tetra, a leader
in global data management solutions for the supplier and customer intelligence
market, today announced the promotion of Mike Zier to chief operating officer
and the election of Craig Johnson to the board of directors.
As COO, Zier is responsible for sales, global alliances and business
development, marketing, solution delivery, and product management segments.
Zier joined Austin-Tetra in September 2002 as vice-president of sales and
marketing and has more than 20 years experience developing and managing
high-growth sales organizations for both large and small companies. His
experience includes leading sales and marketing for companies such as Oracle,
Information Resources, Texas Instruments and two successful start-up
initiatives at ePartners and ActionSystems.
“Mike brings extensive knowledge in developing strong sales organizations
and creating new market opportunities for Austin-Tetra,” said Phil

Craig Johnson has been elected to Austin-Tetra’s board of directors for a
three-year term to provide strategic development guidance. Johnson is a
seasoned, senior management executive with Wall Street experience and expertise
in corporate finance, M&A, corporate development and strategic planning. He
has held executive management positions at Nortel Networks including head of
global corporate development and M&A, division CFO and business unit
general manager. He also held senior positions at Etan Industries, Cross
Country Capital and Daniels & Associates.
